PINNACLE 15 & CYBERLINK 10

Question: I tried trial versions of Pinnacle 14 & 15 and Cyberlink 9 & 10. Although I originally preferred Pinnacle, Cyberlink grew on me and was much faster showing/adding effects in real time. I believe this is because of GPU acceleration. I'm wondering if there is a Pinnacle 16 coming out soon with this upgrade.

Pinnacle 14 and 15 both have GPU acceleration to assist with rendering speeds. The actual thing that speeds up Cyberlink's rendering speed is it's TrueVelocity rendering engine.

Pinnacle's and Cyberlink's GPU acceleration manipulates and alters memory to speed up the construction of images.

Cyberlink's TrueVelocity rendering engine improves previewing, effects rendering, as well as format conversions. Cyberlink has even added OpenCL support, an enhanced video encoder and Intelligent SVRT technology to assist videographers in producing high quality videos in less time.

Pinnacle has yet to post the next release / launch date for Pinnacle Studio 16.
